  1. Szilard Szakacs:

The 6 days tour of the Monte Rosa Traverse is a fantastic alpine experience! Organized in an utmost professional manner with detailed preparation and execution, this tour has everything to offer in the context of alpine climbing / mountaineering.
My wife and I went on this tour in July 2020 and it was one of the most rejuvenating and rewarding experience. We stayed at 4 different mountain huts with great facilities and excellent food. The tour itself has a lot of variety, from glacier travel, climbing steep snowy/icy slopes and rock climbing. We have summited a total of 10 4000m+ peaks with all sorts of particularities. It’s very hard to pick a favorite, but we truly enjoyed Pollux (some very neat rocky sections), Castor (a steep climb with a nice exposed ridge towards the summit) and perhaps Naso del Lyskamm (some ice climbing involved). In addition, on day five we had the opporunity to summit 5 peaks in one day, which is truly rewarding to say the least.
All this was possible by being guided by Cristina. There aren’t enough superlatives in the English dictionary to describe her professionalism, her excellent technical know-how and people skills.
We are truly grateful and very much looking forward to our next tour!
