Catch the first cable car to Aiguille du Midi then cross the glacier and start the route. Moving fast an efficient is an absolute must for this approach. After 350 meters of technical climbing in mixed terrain we have another 250m of ascent on moderate terrain to the summit of Mont Blanc du Tacul. We will descend by the normal route of Mont Blanc du Tacul and catch the cable car back down to Chamonix.

    A great day out! The trip has a bit of everything (rock, ice, snow). Made possible by excellent guides, who know the area extremely well.

    Hut is great, good food, but watch out for the pork sausage.
